The Sandoway House was constructed in 1936.
And is credited to local architect, Samuel Ogren.

If your group is unable to pay, we do provide programs at a discounted rate.
GROUP FEE FOR EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAMS
Executive Director
- $6.00 per person. Chaperones are Free.
- Programs are 1 hour long.
- Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card.
- We require a minimum of 25 participants.

EVAN ORELLANA
Director of Education and Animal Care/Internship Coordinator
Evan is a veteran paddler and surfer as well as a marine biologist with a specialty in invertebrate zoology.

AMANDA CLOUGH
Naturalist
Amanda was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL and received her AA degree in Zoology from Palm Beach State College. Previously she has worked for Busch Wildlife Sanctuary and the Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society as a Keeper and an Education Specialist educating all ages about animals, habitats, and conservation. She enjoys being out in nature whether its hiking, canoeing, camping, etc. and is very passionate about animals and conservation.

This new program has been designed to teach about the importance of protecting and preserving our environment through the understanding and exploring of current environmental issues: sea level rise, climate change, ocean acidification and the need for recycling.

Learn about the diversity of the animal kingdom with Sandoway! Classification, characteristics, habitat, adaptations, and ecology will be covered while interacting with our resident animals, including a shark feeding!
